Minnesota Wild goaltending prospect Jesper Wallstedt has been named to the inaugural AHL top Prospect team, determined by the American Hockey League’s hockey operations department in conjunction with AHL general managers. He is the only goaltender selected on a team that includes three forwards, two defensemen and one goaltender. Wallstedt currently playes for the Iowa Wild in the AHL and is widely considered one of the best goalie prospects in hockey today. A native of Sweden, Wallstedt was taken by Minnesota 20th overall in the 2021 NHL draft.
