Wild resign defenseman Calen Addison

The Minnesota Wild have resigned defenseman Calen Addison to a one-year $825,000 contract. Addison is 23-years-old and scored 29 points, three goals 26 assists in 62 games last season. 2022-23 was his rookie season. He set a single-season franchise record for assists by a rookie. Addison was a second round pick by the Pittsburgh Penguines in the 2018 NHL draft. The Wild acquired Addison and other assests in a trade with Pittsburgh in 2020 in exchange for forward Jason Zucker.
