A Yankton man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for his role in a hostage situation earlier this year. According to court documents 62-year-old Ricky German sued a weapon to hold two people against their will as law enforcement attempted to search his home in March. The incident lead to a standoff with law enforcement. German eventually took a plea deal, pleading guilty to one count aggravated assault.
