The Yankton Police Department reports officers found a dead body in a pond Sunday. According to police, officers received a call about the body around 12:00 p.m. Sunday in Westside Park. Once on scene first responders began recovery efforts and were able to retrieve the remains. Little further information was released about the matter, but investigators now turn to identifying the body and determining a cause of death.
