(DRG News – Pierre, SD) A 14 year old boy from Fort Pierre is dead after a shooting incident Tuesday afternoon (July 15, 2025) in Pierre.
Information from the Pierre Police Department says at approximately 2:45pm Tuesday, Patrol Officers were dispatched to the 2900 Block of E. Green Street in Pierre. At the scene, they found a deceased 14 year old with a gunshot wound to the head.
Three other juvenile males were also in the home at the time the shooting occurred. Currently, no charges have been filed, but the shooting is still under investigation.
Because all subjects involved are juveniles, their names are not being released.
