About The Shark
The Shark is a 50,000-watt, Killer Hits, Adult Hits station that plays the biggest rock and pop hits spanning the past 40 years, along with an even bigger dose of entertainment designed to target the coveted 25-54-year-old audience.
The Shark keeps the listeners entertained all day with giveaways, games, special features, and more!
The Shark broke the mold of your typical radio station in this market by keeping with the newest technology and being the first station in the market to stream 24/7 at dakotabroadcasting.com. It was also the first to utilize the RDS scrolling song title technology.
The Shark also knows that not all farmers are country listeners. That’s why they keep them up to date with opening and closing grain and livestock markets from the Red River Farm Network.
107.7 Personalities
Scott Allen
"The Breakfast club" host 107.7 the shark
We’re excited to welcome Scott Allen to the Dakota Broadcasting team! Scott joined the staff on January 6, 2026, and brings a creative, people-first energy that fits right in with our culture.
A native of Oklahoma, Scott is a lifelong music enthusiast with an ever-growing collection and a deep appreciation for artists across multiple genres. When he’s not immersed in music, you’ll likely find him deep into fantasy football, following NCAA wrestling, or talking movies—The Jerk and Anchorman are among his all-time favorites.
Scott describes himself as a salty-snack kind of guy (pickled okra and green olives are top tier), runs best on black coffee or a splash of 2% milk, and believes music is a must-have in the workplace. He’s a hoodie-over-crewneck guy, prefers mountains over beaches, and is firmly in the “wing it” camp when it comes to planning.
One thing that might surprise you: Scott spent six years as a high school head wrestling coach. Another? He can eat an entire jar of green olives in one sitting—and yes, he’s proud of that.
If Scott had a walk-out song, it would be “Hair of the Dog” by Nazareth, and when asked what his dream job was as a kid, his answer was simple: he’s already doing it.
Scott is always open to communication, especially in person, and appreciates both public and private recognition. Be sure to say hello when you see him around

Adam St. Paul
Information Director
I am the information director at Dakota Broadcasting, covering news and sports while providing play-by-play and color commentary. I am from the small town of Wheaton, Minnesota, which is located on the way western side of the state, right next to North and South Dakota. I have wanted to work in radio since I was in high school and got my first experience doing the Wheaton High School news on a local radio station. I went to college at North Dakota State in Fargo where I graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism. I was the news director at the campus radio station KNDS for two years and was heavily involved in sports while I was there as well. I came to Aberdeen from O’Neill, Nebraska, the official Irish Capital of Nebraska, where I was the sports director for KBRX radio. I’ve enjoyed my time here in Aberdeen mostly because the people in the community have made me feel so at home. You can hear me every morning on both our morning shows providing both news and sports. You will also hear me doing play-by-play and color commentary for local sports when the season gets going again.
