21-year-old Viborg man dies from injuries sustained in accident last week

A 21-year-old has died from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident near Lennox last week. According to the Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred on Thursday March 20^th around 10:30 a.m. On US Highway 18 near mile marker 429. The victim identified as a 21-year-old Viborg man was eastbound when he drifted into the westbound lane, colliding with an oncoming semi hauling farm equipment. He was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital where he would pass away Monday from his injuries. The 57-year-old driver and 75-year-old passenger in the semi were uninjured.
