The Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce and the League of Women Voters have announced a candidate forum to be held September 22nd at the KO Lee Public Library in Aberdeen. The event is open to the public and will begin at 5:30 p.m. Candidates participating will be District 3 House candidates including Democrat Erin Rudner, and Republicans Spencer Sommers and Tim Hanigan. Only two candidates will win seats in the South Dakota Legislature. Absentee voting for the 2026 midterm elections begins September 18th.
