The Aberdeen City Council at its regular meeting Monday approved the accepting of a bid of $20.6 million from Quest Construction in Aberdeen to build the new city Public Works building.
City engineer Stu Nelson said the city was pleased with the response they got from willing partners…
The bid came with two alternates that included adding 8,000 square feet for additional vehicle storage, 26,000 square feed for additional material storage, more insulation in exterior walls and reduced number of windows.
Aberdeen City Manager Dave McNeil recommended the council accept the bid and its alternative forms as well to ensure the job is done right…
