Aberdeen Fire and Rescue to flow-test fire hydrants in parts of Aberdeen Friday

Beginning at approximately 8:30am Friday, July 25th, 2025, the Aberdeen Fire Rescue will begin flow-testing fire hydrants in the following area:

Railroad Tracks N. to 15th Ave. NE

Between

N. Dakota St. & N. Roosevelt St.

The fire department will be opening hydrants and residents will experience some water pressure changes, and in some instances the water will be disturbed to the point of discoloring or appearing rusty.  The project will continue until all hydrants in this area have been tested.  Any questions or concerns can be reported to the Public Works Department at 605-626-7010.
