An Aberdeen man is facing multiple charges after allegedly fleeing police and crashing into a pole at the Brown County Fairgrounds. According to the Aberdeen Police Department the incident occurred Thursday October 1st after officers attempted to stop the suspect near the intersection of US Highway 281 and 6th avenue SWE. The vehicle fled and officers did not pursue due to concerns about public safety. The vehicle collided with a poll and the suspect was taken to a local hospital for an evaluation following the incident. The driver has been identified as 37-year-old Logan John Azure of Aberdeen. He faces DUI, reckless driving, second degree eluding, third degree burglary and grand theft.
