Aberdeen Parks and Rec has announced the annual Optimist Club Family Free Throw Contest will be held Tuesday March 25th at the Aberdeen Civic Arena. Registration will run from 6:30 p.m. To 7:00 p.m. With the contest beginning at 7:00 p.m. Categories for the contest include boys and girls age eight and under, nine to 10, 11 to 12 and 13 to 14 as well as Father/son, father/daughter, mother/daughter, mother/son, brother/sister, husband/wife and family teams. Children participating must be 14 years old or younger. This is a free event which will feature members of the NSU basketball team to assist youth participants.
