The Aberdeen Police Department has announced a traffic stop conducted on March 12th resulted in an arrest. According to the Police Department, the stop occurred around 5:00 a.m. On March 12th in the 500 block of South 2nd Street. During the stop officers developed further information that led to a further criminal investigation. Police claim a search of the vehicle uncovered two pounds of marijuana and approximately 14 grams of methamphetamine. 35-year-old Jordan Robert Bachmann of Redfield was arrested and faces charges including parole violation, unauthorized manufacturer, distribution, counterfeiting or possession of a Schedule 1 or II controlled substance and distribution of a possession with intent to distribute specified amounts of marijuana.
