Aberdeen resident charged with two misdemeanors after an alleged altercation with political candidate at NSU football game

Aberdeen resident Shauna King has been accused of two misdemeanors regarding alleged threats made against GOP gubernatorial candidate Toby Doeden. The 69-year-old appeared in court Monday on charges including disorderly conduct and simple assault by putting another person in fear of bodily harm. She did not enter pleas. The Aberdeen Police Department and Toby Doeden himself have both confirmed the altercation which took place at the Northern State Football game this past Saturday. Doeden alleges the suspect approached her saying “We got Kirk, you’re next,” referring to the conservative political activist Charlie Kirk who was gunned down less than a week ago at a Utah college.
