The South Dakota House of Representatives Monday defeated a bill which would require the 10 commandments be displayed in all South Dakota classrooms and be taught as historical legal documents. SB 51 had already narrowly passed out of the South Dakota State Legislature, but was defeated on the house floor 37-31.
