Brown County Democrats have released a list of their candidates who made the ballot for particular races for the June primary election. Erin Ronayne Rudner has announced her candidacy for District 3 State House, Courtney Gail Enfield has announced her candidacy for District 1 State House and Anthony “Tony” Sorensen has announced his candidacy for Brown County Sheriff. For statewide races Democrats have announced candidates including for Governor Dan Ahlers, US Senate Julian Beaudion and US House Nicole “Nikki” Gronli.
The District 1 State House Primary is also a full contest with four candidates vying for two spots on the November ballot. The four include incumbents Logan Manhart and Nick Fosness. Also running includes Day county commissioner Daniel Kjos and rural Aberdeen rancher and small business owner Keith Miller. Finally District 23 will have a primary for state House as incumbent Spencer Gosch will face Dick Werner and Amber Werdel who have both filed to run. Two of the those three candidates will qualify for the November general election ballot.
