The Brown County landfill’s free spring residential cleanup will end tomorrow. This is the public’s last chance to ditch items at no charge including batteries, furniture, appliances, electronics, scrap metal, rubble, miscellaneous waste, tires, limit four per person, paint, trees, grass, waste oil, shingles, branches and more. All loads must be taken to the landfill covered and secured. The landfill is west of Aberdeen on US Highway 12 and will be open from 8:30 a.m. To 5:00 p.m.
