Brown County landfill free spring cleanup announced

The Brown County landfill has announced its annual spring free cleanup event will run Friday
April 25^th through Saturday May 10^th. The announcement was made by Brown County Landfill manager mike Scott at the Brown County Commission’s regular meeting Tuesday. Between those dates, residents of Brown County can bring a host of items to be disposed of at the landfill free of charge. Those items include paint, shingles, trees, rubble, waste oil, furniture, electronics, scrap metal, appliances, propane tanks, grass and leaves and other miscellaneous waste. There will also be a satellite drop-off site at Jensen Rock and Sand on Fifth Street Saturday April 26^th. Loads must be secured safely.
