Brown County sheriff deputies took part in a chase with a suspect Monday. According to a release from the Brown county Sheriff’s Office, officers attempted to stop a suspect in a vehicle near Bath Monday. The driver attempted refused to stop or slow down and continued east on US Highway 12. The pursuit entered Day County where spike strips were successfully deployed slowing the vehicle until eventually stopping in Bristol. The entire incident lasted two and a half hours according to law enforcement with less lethal irratents eventually needing to be deployed to get the driver to surrender. The driver was identified as Robert Fawley of Indiana. He was arrested on multiple charges and had an active warrant for his arrest in Indiana.
