City council candidate Kurt Preszler has requested a recount regarding the Aberdeen City Council race out of the southeast district. In that June 3rd election, Chad Nilson was declared the preliminary winner, defeating Preszler by just one vote 124 to 123. Incumbent Tiffany Langer came in third place. According to City Finance Officer Jordan McQuillen, a three-member recount board will need to be selected within three days and the recount is scheduled to be Monday June 16th at 3:00 p.m. At the Brown County Courthouse.
