City garbage pickup to change Wednesday due to Brown County landfill being closed

Due to the Brown County Landfill being closed today, Wednesday, February 18, 2026, City garbage pick-up will change. Residents who normally have their garbage picked up on Wednesday are reminded to have their garbage out for pick-up by 7:00 AM, Thursday, February 19, 2026.  Both Wednesday’s and Thursday’s garbage will be picked up on Thursday.  Dependable Sanitation will NOT be picking up recyclables today.  Residents who normally would have had their recyclables picked up today, Wednesday, February 18^th, are reminded to have their recyclables out for pick-up next Wednesday, February 25^th.
