Clark county teen killed in single vehicle crash Thursday

A Clark County teen died in a single vehicle crash Thursday afternoon, three miles east of Clark, SD.

The name of the person involved has not been released pending notification of family members.

Preliminary crash information indicates the driver of a 2007 Ford Focus was traveling north on 428^th Avenue from US Highway 212. The driver lost control of the vehicle and entered the east ditch, rolling onto its roof. The driver was taken to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. All information released so far is only preliminary.
