Dallas Mavericks defy the odds to win the NBA draft lottery

The NBA draft lottery was held last night and the Dallas Mavericks had lady luck on their side.

With just a 1.8 percent chance of getting the first overall pick, Dallas defied the odds and won, putting them in line to draft Duke star Cooper Flagg who is the consensus top overall pick in this upcoming draft.

This is the biggest move by any team in NBA draft lottery history according to ESPN.
