South Dakota incumbent Republican Governor Larry Rhoden and Democrat challenger Dan Ahlers took part in one of two scheduled gubernatorial debates over the weekend at the state fair in Huron.
The debate was largely focused on agricultural issues. The two spoke about the Trump Administration’s decision to import 300,000 tons of foreign beef in an effort to bring down prices for consumers.
