The South Dakota Department of Public Health reports a bat at the Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls has tested positive for rabies. The bat was found between the pollinator garden and the farm just before noon on May 9th. The bat has since been removed by animal control and it is believed no guests interacted with the animal.
