An Eagle Butte man will serve a decade in prison after being found guilty by a federal grand jury on sexually abusing a young girl. 24-year-old Eamnuel Semon was indicted in 2024 and found guilty after a three day trial in May of 2026. The charges stem from an incident on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation on July 3 2024. Court documents claim Semon sexually abused a juvenile girl and only stopped when an adult entered the room and interrupted him.
