FEMA has announced nearly $670,000 in funds to help with disaster relief and infrastructure projects across South Dakota. $344,000 will go to the Oglala Sioux Tribe for highway improvements on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, $189,000 to the state of South Dakota for management costs tied to the city of Mobridge raw water intake replacement, and $138,000 to Rapid City for repairs to the airport terminal roof and external lighting damaged by straight line winds in December of 2025.
