Fire hydrant flow testing to take place in parts of Aberdeen Tuesday

Beginning at approximately 9:30am Tuesday, July 29th, 2025, the Aberdeen Fire Rescue will begin flow-testing fire hydrants in the following area:

15th Ave. NE to 30th Ave. NE

Between

N. Dakota St. & N. Roosevelt St.

The fire department will be opening hydrants and residents will experience some water pressure changes, and in some instances the water will be disturbed to the point of discoloring or appearing rusty.  The project will continue until all hydrants in this area have been tested.  Any questions or concerns can be reported to the Public Works Department at 605-626-7010.
