First GOP primary debate to take place this afternoon on Keloland

The first of four GOP Gubernatorial primary debates will take place this afternoon at 4:00 p.m. Central time and be aired on Kelo-TV and Keloland+. The debate will be available on demand on Keloland+ immediately following the debate. The debate will feature incumbent Governor Larry Rhoden, US Representative Dusty Johnson, Speaker of the South Dakota State House Jon Hansen and Aberdeen Businessman Toby Doeden. According to Keloland some questions which will be asked during the debate were submitted by viewers. According to the most recently released polling performed by Keloland and Ememrson College Poll shows Dusty Johnson in the lead with 28 percent support. Behind him was Doeden with 18 percent, Goveror Rhoden at 17 percent and Speaker Hansen at 14 percent. 23 percent were undecided. The Primary election will take place June 2nd.
