Former state employee pleads guilty to forgery charges

South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley has announced a former state employee accused of forgery related charges has pleaded guilty. 55-year-old Renee Strong of Springfield, SD pleaded guilty to four charges including offering false or forged instruments for filing or recording in a public office and two counts forgery. She will be sentenced on June 10^th. She is accused of falsifying food service inspection reports while performing inspections for the Department of Health through a contract with the Department of Public Safety.
