Former Minnesota linebacker Anthony Barr returned to the organization Monday September 2nd to announce his retirement from the NFL with the Vikings organization.
Barr was the Minnesota Vikings 1st round pick in 2014, selected 19th overall out of UCLA. He spent seven seasons with Minnesota from 2014 to 2021 and returned in 2023 for his last season after a one year stint with the Dallas Cowboys. During his career he was a four time pro bowler, recorded 554 tackles, 18.5 sacks, eight forced fumbles, five interceptions and one defensive touchdown.
