(KWAT – Watertown, SD) Forum Communications Company announced Wednesday that they’re acquiring seven newspapers, including the Pierre Capital-Journal and Madison Daily Leader.
The official transition date will be February 1st.
The announcement also included Forum’s purchase of papers in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, Willison, Wahpeton and Hankinson, North Dakota, and Sidney, Montana.
Forum Communications is also the parent company of Sioux Falls Live, KSFL-TV, the Mitchell Republic and NewsCenter1 in Rapid City.
