Harrisburg native Emilee Boyer has been named the Division II National Fastpitch Coaches Association player of the year. Boyer is a junior at West Texas A&M who this past season hit 22 home runs, leading Division II, knocked in 90 RBIs and had a .470 average. She also went 28-4 as a starting pitcher with 236 strikeouts. Along with being named the DII player of the year, she was a consensus 1st team All-American.
