A Harrold man died Saturday in a two-vehicle crash near Cresbard, South Dakota.
Names of the those involved have not been released pending notification of family members.
Preliminary crash information indicates the driver of a 2021 Ford Edge Titanium SUV was traveling southbound on SD 45. At the same time, the driver of a 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty pickup truck was traveling westbound as he approached the SD 45 and 155th Street intersection. The Edge collided with the F-350 as the pickup truck entered the intersection.
The driver of the Edge was taken to a Faulkton hospital with life-threatening injuries. Her passenger sustained fatal injuries. The driver of the F-350 sustained minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing. All information released is preliminary.
