An inmate in the South Dakota state penitentiary has passed away. According to the Department of Corrections 61-year-old Antione Ladeaux passed away in a Sioux Falls hospital. At the time of his death he was serving a 25-year prison sentence out of Hughes county on third degree rape charges. He is the fourth inmate to die in custody of the DOC this year.
