Lennox high school wide receiver Drake Mikkelson has announced he will play college football at the University of Minnesota. Mikkelson will be a senior this coming 2026 high school football season and is closing in on the state record for career touchdown catches. He helped Lennox win a state 11A championship two years ago and lost to Sioux Falls Christian in the state championship this past season. He is expected to play tight end for the Gophers.
