An arrest has been made regarding the death of a woman in Howard Saturday morning. According to the South Dakota Attorney General’s Office 46-year-old Elias Stubbe has been charged with first and second degree murder in the death of 56-year-old Nichole Malfero. Malfero was pronounced dead at her home in Howard Saturday morning. Authorities found Malfero at approximately 2:50 a.m. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine her cause of death. Stubbe is being held in the Davison county jail. Each charge he faces carries a mandatory life in prison sentence.8
