The NHL draft lottery took place last night and the Toronto Maple Leafs had lady luck on their side, winning the draft lottery.
The Maple Leafs had an 8.5 percent chance of winning the top pick, which were the fifth best lottery odds.
The San Jose Sharks were the consolation winners jumping up seven spots to win the second overall pick.
Vancouver were the unlucky ones last night as they dropped from the #1 spot with the worst record last year to end up picking third.

6.) Calgary
7.) Seattle
8.) Winnipeg
