Minot State head men’s basketball coach Matt Murken joins USD men’s basketball coaching staff

Minot State head men’s basketball coach Matt Murken is leaving Minot to join the coaching staff at the University of South Dakota. Coyotes head men’s basketball coach Eric Peterson made the announcement of Murken’s hire as an assistant Thursday. Murken has been in charge of the DII NSIC program for the past 13 season. During that time he compiled a record of 186-180 and becoming the second winningest coach in Minot State history.
