A Mitchell man has been sentenced on child pornography charges. According to the US Attorney for South Dakota 44-year-old Mark Stephen Gullings was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison and five years supervised release. Once released from prison he must register as a sex offender. The conviction stems from October of 2022 when court documents say Gullings’ used his cell phone to take photos of a minor female ina bathroom. The child was living in Gullings’ house abnd under his care. He was indicted by a federal grand jury in February of 2025 and pleaded guilty on October 8th of that same year.
