The names of two people killed in a Davison county fatal accident last week have been released. According to the Department of Public Safety, 34-year-old Shane Willis was the driver of a 2018 Dodge Ram eastbound on I-90 between two Mitchell exits when the vehicle entered the south ditch and struck a guard cable near an upcoming bridge. The vehicle fell onto Rowley Street where it struck a retaining wall, coming to rest on its side. His passenger, 38-year-old Melynda Willis both of Pierre died due to their injuries. Two infant passengers were hurt as well. All occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
