Northern State has announced plans to offer full tuition and book scholarships to those students seeking a degree in early childhood education. The school announced its plans as part of an effort to address a statewide shortage in childcare. According to a press release, Northern will offer 10 of these scholarship to full time students pursuing an associates degree in early childhood education. This particular associate’s degree is offered both in person and online. The scholarship will require graduated students to work in a licensed childcare center or state-registered family daycare in the state for two years.
