Parts of 8th avenue northeast in Aberdeen have been shutdown as crews continue with an extensive construction project in the area.
According to the City of Aberdeen a small stretch of 8th avenue northeast was shut down Monday between Lancelot Drive and Camelot Drive.
The work is expected to last approximately two weeks. Motorists are advised not to use these streets to try and get to next week’s Brown County Fair as it will be currently unpassable.
The intersection of Eighth Avenue Northeast and Roosevelt Street is also closed to eastbound and northbound traffic. During this time motorists are also advised business east of the My Place building to Area Federal Credit Union and the Pump N’ Pack gas station at the intersection will be difficult to access at this time.
