The Aberdeen Police Department reports an pedestrian was struck by a motorists April 9th. According to a release from police, the incident occurred around 8:10 p.m. When police were dispatched to a private property in the 500 block of South State Street. Initial reports were that an individual had been struck and was trapped underneath. Officers with Aberdeen Fire and Rescue and the Brown County Sheriff’s Office were also on scene and began administering first aid. The individual was ultimately transported to a local hospital. The driver identified as 20-year-old Ellison Jane Walkingbull was cited for no valid driver’s license. The status of the victim was not released by police.
