The South Dakota Department of Health is warning the public about another potential measles exposure event which took place January 30th in Milbank and Brookings. According to the DOH, the adult Grant County resident with a confirmed case of the measles visited several locations January 30th including

“As South Dakotans, it is our personal responsibility to help prevent the spread of measles in our state,” said State Epidemiologist Dr. Joshua Clayton. “Knowing your immune status, monitoring for symptoms, and staying home if you feel sick are critical steps to protect yourself, your family, and your community.”
