President Donald Trump has announced he will visit South Dakota on July 4th to attend the fireworks display at Mount Rushmore. South Dakota Governor Larry Rhoden is welcoming president Trump. In a release, the governor called hosting the president an honor and this display will honor America’s legacy of freedom, liberty and justice for all.
“It is my honor to welcome President Trump to the great state of South Dakota – the freest state in a nation founded on the principles of freedom,” wrote Governor Larry Rhoden. “Together, we will throw the biggest birthday party ever for our nation and celebrate America’s legacy of freedom, liberty, and justice for all!”
President Trump last visited South Dakota in 2020 to again attend the Mount Rushmore 4th of July fireworks display.
