The National Weather Service in Aberdeen has extended its red flag warning into the evening hours of Monday May 12th. This is because of a combination of high temperatures, low humidity, gusty winds and dry conditions.

Brown County Emergency Management discourages people form doing any opening burning until at least Tuesday May 13th.
Residents are asked to be careful with outdoor activities and to properly dispose of cigarette butts and anything else that can cause a spark.
