Road closures and water off planned for parts of Aberdeen Tuesday

Beginning at approximately 7am Tuesday, June 30th, 2026, the water will be off and the road will be closed in the following area for watermain repair:

S. Washington St. from 2^nd Ave. SE to 3^rd Ave. SE

The water will be off and the road will be closed until approximately 5pm or until finished.  The Public Works department suggests that residents in the affected area collect and store water for personal and restroom use.  Motorists are advised to take alternate routes until the work is completed.

Beginning at approximately 7am Tuesday, June 30th, 2026, the following road will be closed to thru traffic for deliveries to the Citizens Building:

2^nd Ave. SW

From

S. Main St. going west to the alley behind the Citizens Building

The road is scheduled to be closed until 7pm or until finished.  Motorists are advised to take alternate routes until the work is completed.
