Road work and water to be off in parts of Aberdeen Thursday

Beginning at approximately 10am Thursday, October 15th, 2026, the water will be off in the following area for utility work:

390th Ave. from Dependable Sanitation N. to Paper Lane then E. 760 Feet

The water is scheduled to be off until approximately 3pm or until finished.  The Public Works department suggests that residents in the affected area collect and store water for personal and restroom use.  

Beginning at approximately 8am Thursday, October 15th, 2026, the following intersection will be closed to thru traffic for watermain valve repair and water will be off:

Intersection Closed: 1^st Ave. SW & S. 4^th St.

Water Off: 1^st Ave. SW from S. 3^rd St. to S. 4^th St.

And

S. 4^th St. from 1^st Ave. SW to 3^rd Ave. SW 

The entire intersection closure and water being off is scheduled to last until approximately 5pm or until finished.  Motorists are advised to take alternate routes until the work is completed.
