Roncalli teacher Dan Gallagher named Milken Educator Award winner

Aberdeen Roncalli middle/high school teacher Dan Gallagher has been honored with the Milken Educator Award. The award is given to educators who are early or midway into their career and demonstrate above normal teaching skills as well as student service. Along with the award, Gallagher received a $25,000 cash prize as well as an all expenses paid trip to the Milken Educator Awards Forum in Los Angeles in April. Not only does Gallagher serve as a teacher at Roncalli, but he also serves as the high school boys basketball coach.
